Hello all, xoxo In the last video, we just got a taste of what they had been working on. In this video the entire 4th grade class recites all of Ephesians 4. This is a part of a larger program where each grade learns 1 book of Ephesians. At the completion of 6th grade, they should be able to recite the entire book. Chris Kaleb’s class has been working on this play for a few weeks. The entire 2nd grade at his school has been reading ‘The Frog Price’ series of books. As a wrap up of this, each class performed a frog themed song. Kaleb’s class song was ‘I Would Hop 500 Miles’ which is an adapted version of the Pretenders song.Enjoy… Every Friday at Austin’s school one of the classes recites a section of Ephesians during their chapel time. On March 28th, it was finally his classes turn. We are obviously very proud of him. I hope that you enjoy this as much as we do.Chris Check out the roses Chris sent me from Germany. They are under the photos. It has been so hard w/o him here with us and this is just what I needed to help get me through. I love my hubby Austin is heading off for his very first overnight field trip with Regents to Bamberger Ranch. He will be going with his class: Shipley’s Shipmates and Mrs. Chapman’s class. They will have parent chaperones and Austin is so very excited. He will be leaving from school at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning (Wed.) and will return by noon on Thursday. Please keep him and his classmates in your prayers for safety and also for God’s beauty to be experienced to the fullest. Check out where he is going. I will post pics when I get them back. Praise God! All is well in the land of Germany! Chris got there safely and texted me @ 5 am our time. He had a LONG restless flight. He was so glad to get off of that plane!! He thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers. The boys had a hard day and night getting to bed but got to call him this morning at his desk in Germany. They seemed to do much better after that. They were glad to know he was safe on the ground. He got a crappy Kia @ first which he didn’t end up driving b/c the battery was dead in it, so they put him in a Golf. He said it’s not as nice as the one last year but it runs and it has a GPS which is always good in a foreign place. He was hoping to get out of work early as he didn’t sleep but an hour on the flight. He sends his love to all. Special thanks to Uncle Jason, Grammy and Dad for helping me out with Austin last night. He really had a tough time getting to sleep. He felt so much better after getting off the phone. He was so shocked that Dad was still awake after 9:30 P.M.!!! That was totally a God thing xoxo Hey everyone Chris left this morning to Germany. Please pray for safe travels as well as my sanity while he’s gone. Check out the pics from this morning. We love you Daddy. As someone once said, “Come back to Texas…” xoxo Hooray! We found out yesterday that Kaleb was drafted by the Cubs. They are a winning team that was 9-2 last season. His coach is Nick and assured me that they have fun! I hope so b/c that is what it’s all about. We also found out that Kaleb will have 3 if not 4 practices a week with 2 games a week on the schedule. WHAT!! This is going to be crazy but whatever makes my boys happy and active OK as promised, I have added new basketball and birthday pics. Hope you enjoy! |
